ID Plans is hiring a Tampa-based Business Development Representative who will support our sales team in finding, cultivating and building new business. You’ll seek out new customers for our software solutions, which are designed for commercial real estate professionals involved in leasing and property management, and you’ll also research and identify additional clientele who could benefit from our products. As our company continues to grow, the Business Development Representative will play an integral role in helping us achieve our sales goals and objectives.
What you will be doing
- Scheduling C-suite level meetings for ID Plans Account Executives to support and attend Consulting prospective customers
- Identifying prospective customers using assigned leads or defined projects
- Following up with all leads
- Adhering to strong ethical principles
- Participating in various incentive programs and contests designed to support achievement of production goals
- Meeting goals for volume of qualified new appointments set
- Cold calling into our database with an average 70 calls per day
- Updating sales opportunities in MS Dynamics, along with schedules and activities
- Submitting timely, accurate, and complete sales reports and forecasts
- Learning and understanding the features and benefits of ID Plans solutions, and how to effectively communicate them across all levels of a client organization
Key requirements
- Minimum three years in a Business Development role with similar day-to-day requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Background working in SaaS sales environment
- Highly effective communication skills across all mediums
- Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers
- Organizational skills and effective time management
- Understanding of new technologies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Additional notes
- Experience in commercial real estate is a plus
- Travel is required up to 25 percent of the time to meet with clients and attend industry conferences and conventions
